We hired Haven to build an infill house for us in the Saskatoon. Working with the team at Haven was a great experience. We loved the 3D software Haven used to give us a virtual walk thru of the blue prints of our completely custom floor plan; it helped us feel confident that we wouldn't have any regrets once the house was actually built. Being able to work so closely with our project manager and Haven's interior designer was also amazing. Our house is truly custom and feels so much like "us". There were no cost surprises at all throughout the process either, which was very important to us. Thanks to the appropriate budget laid out by Haven we were able to build the home we desired while staying on budget. Best of all, literally everyone we dealt with at Haven and who worked on our house was so friendly, enthusiastic, encouraging and helpful!

Our search for a custom home builder began after we were fortunate enough to purchase a property in Nutana. We were moving to Saskatoon and were immediately drawn to the historic neighborhood. Having built an in-fill in Regina, we were familiar with the challenges new construction in an older area poses. We were looking for a builder with previous in-fill experience, as well as the desire to build us a true custom home.
We interviewed at least five home builders, visited the homes they built and outlined our “wish list” to them. Once we met with Haven, it quickly became evident that this company would take good care of us and deliver what we truly desired in a new home.
Their in-house design services, from custom designing the house plan to help with the final décor, truly made this house building experience exceptional. They take the time to really get to know you, your style, and how you vision your dream home. They do a lot of the “heavy lifting” as far as pulling together samples, and helping narrow down the seemingly endless choices you need to make when building, and if you don’t love it, they’ll keep searching until you do love it. Regular meetings with them really solidified how the final product would look.
We are the type of clients who pays lots of attention to the construction, visiting the site daily, asking hundreds of questions and generally annoying Dallas and Charissa we’re sure, but they took it all in stride, always answered when we called, helped us get through the times when we questioned our decisions, met the challenges when there were bumps in the road, and made sure we were always happy with the results.
Haven has a reputation of being a quality builder, and we can attest to that as we wouldn’t have accepted anything less. The trades they used for our build were phenomenal, from electrical to tiling, flooring and finishing, we were very happy with them, they are a talented group of people!
As we mentioned before, we felt Haven would be able to deliver us our dream home and they did!
